♪Recorded as additional recording sessions for the project 'the end of time/the last song' by Mat at abstract soundscapes studios, Lot (46)
♫Mixed at abstract sound I (the real one) onto 16-tracks console and outboard stupefiant FX by Mat
Also processed thru multitrack Cubase SE and Cubase VST automatism
(many overdubs had been made to finally make a stripped down version feat. only a gtr or two, undermixed vocals, and background gtr delayed, all digital garbage erased..Note : it s one of the song i m stucked with because all the rest was one take rec except this one who supposed to be a tribute to themusic of Chan Marshall also know as Cat Power, it s normal if you don t recognised, I m feeling naked singuing (i don t specially like my voice specially when you don t have auto-tune !)
¶anyway hope Chan will like it, & you too by the way
lyrics
I m from the moon
I m from the snow
I d rather be the snow
I don t care what they say
Great Expectations
I m from the moon (x2)
I d rather be the snow
Great Expectation
And so they say
So they say
So they say
I m from the moon
I m from the snow
I d rather be the moon

(Song written by Cat power, originally performed on the Plain recording LP/CS/CD "Dear Sir" & the Smell Like Record CD "Myra Lee") This is a tribute to her work i'm very tied to and admire as a songwritter & human being (hearing doctor)

Original vocals repeated and aranged for solo gtr by Mat
Wonderful emotional music that inspire both melancholy and sadness with a heavy sense of cinematic drama and at the same time push dynamics of life to a resurgent joy and also a sense of wonder, love Mat's Trip
Mat's band before he pursuie his own 'post-outtakes' style on solo album, this band is a mixture of a self claimed psychedelic ambient music rooted in noise rock and performed throught long tracks. Mat's Trip
The new album from Johannes Winkler is full of rich, immersive soundscapes—pools of synth that stretch out peaceful as clouds. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 11, 2021
